Eric Gordon is a game designer and scholar focused on civic engagement, learning, and play. He is an associate professor at Emerson College and the founder and executive director of the Engagement Lab (http://elab.emerson.edu). He is also a faculty associate at the Berkman Center for Internet and Society at Harvard University. He is the author of two books: Net Locality: Why Location Matters in a Networked World (Blackwell 2011, with Adriana de Souza e Silva) and The Urban Spectator (Dartmouth 2010). Additionally, he is the editor of Civic Media: Technology, Design, Practice (MIT Press, 2016, with Paul Mihailidis).
