Panel - Community of Interest: Comics for Impact

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Comics & graphic novels are increasingly being accepted and adopted as effective mechanisms of social change, education, and even psychological health. Sequential art techniques can be used as powerful tools in their traditional form or when used to complement narrative in games. This panel will address the need for an organized “Comics for Impact” community of interest similar to “Games for Change” that will help create new and innovative projects and new opportunities for comic creators. Panelists will discuss the use of comics for social change, education and psychological health as well as the opportunities to use them to enhance the narrative power of games.
